چکیده
In the presence of externalities across coalitions, Dutta et al. (2010) characterize their value by extending Hart and Mas-Colell reduced game consistency. In the present paper, we provide a characterization result for the core for games with externalities by extending one form of consistency studied by Moulin (1985), which is often refereed to as the complement-reduced game property. Moreover, we analyze another consistency formulated by Davis and Maschler (1965), called the max-reduced game property and a final consistency called the projection-reduced game property. In environments with externalities, we discuss some asymmetric results among these different forms of reduced games.

Efficient bidding with externalities
We implement a family of efficient proposals to share benefits generated in environments with externalities. These proposals extend the Shapley value to games with externalities and are parametrized through the method by which the externalities are averaged. We construct two slightly different mechanisms: one for environments with negative externalities and the other for positive externalities....
متن کاملStationary equilibria in bargaining with externalities
This paper studies infinite-horizon bargaining between a seller and multiple buyers when externalities are present. We extend the analysis in Jehiel & Moldovanu (1995a) by allowing for both pure and mixed equilibria. A characterization of the stationary subgame perfect equilibria in generic games is presented. Equilibria with delay exist only for strong positive externalities. Since each buyer ...
متن کاملExternalities and the Nucleolus∗
In most economic applications, externalities prevail: the worth of a coalition depends on how the other players are organized. We show that there is a unique natural way of extending the nucleolus from (coalitional) games without externalities to games with externalities. This is in contrast to the Shapley value and the core for which many different extensions have been proposed.
متن کاملSharing the surplus in games with externalities within and across issues∗
We consider environments in which agents can cooperate on multiple issues and externalities are present both within and across issues. We propose a way to extend (Shapley) values that have been put forward to deal with externalities within issues to games where there are externalities within and across issues. We characterize our proposal through axioms that extend the Shapley axioms to our mor...
متن کاملShapley Value for Games with Externalities and Games on Graphs
The Shapley value [46] is one of the most important solution concepts in coalitional game theory. It was originally defined for classical model of a coalitional game, which is relevant to a wide range of economic and social situations. However, while in certain cases the simplicity is the strength of the classical coalitional game model, it often becomes a limitation. To address this problem, a...
